Pure bliss

June 1, 2013, was a rainy rainy rainy day. It started off by waking up and heading to McDonald's to get 16 chicken biscuits. Those 16 biscuits were for all of the great helpers who were being busy bees and decorating our reception hall! My Saturday started bright and early at 8am, this day would change the rest of my life. It is the day that I got MARRIED! I had 5 awesome bridesmaids, which were all beyond exceptional. We handmade all of the bouquets, centerpieces, guestbook, and aisle decor.
Here is a quick view at the details:
 The dress: Vera Wang :)
 The shoes
 My bouquet

My garters, I sewed on the charms
Something borrowed: a necklace from a sweet friend of mine who also wore it for her wedding
Something blue: I sewed the wedding date on my dress
Something old: lace on my bouquet from my grandmother's wedding dress
Our lovely bridesmaids and groomsmen
 Jr. Groomsman
Flower girls and ring boy
 The rings
 His cake
 My cake

First dance as Mr. and Mrs.

Cake feeding
 Leaving the celebration
"Just Married"
Enjoy!! Hopefully I will find some extra time to add more pics another time!

Decor on a budget

So I had Tim print off the pictures that I posted on "Pop of color" at work and headed to the Dollar tree to get some frames. A $1 for a frame is a plus on any budget! I got 3 frames for the kitchen artwork, they were all black and I was planning on spray painting them white, but I decided I liked them as is.
Especially since my walls are already white! Total $3.00
In our master bath, I hung the next picture. I used a frame we already had lying around the house, so it cost nothing to add some color in there.
It matches our shower curtain perfect!
The next project, I glued to a sheet of scrapbook paper that I had. I headed to hobby lobby and grabbed a 12x12 frame using my 40% off coupon which totaled to $3.64
I can't wait to add so more touches to our place.
This is a project I worked on last week, I forgot to take during pics

Pop of color

The downside of renting a townhome is the boring color on all of the walls! It's everywhere from room to room, I am constantly asking myself what can I add to brighten it up but not break the bank! Thanks to the lovely Pinterest, I found some awesome free printables.

I plan on hanging these in white frames above our bed! They match our color scheme perfectly!!
This is going in our master bath, it will go perfectly with our shower curtain

I LOVE these for the Kitchen, can't wait to frame and hang them!
After I get these all put up, I will have to show some pics! Let me know what ya think.

I'm a MRS now

I am now married and man am I glad that I am on the other side of it now. Planning a wedding takes so much energy, you need all the friends and family you can get!! I have missed blogging and planned on blogging my whole step by step process of planning the wedding...Where did the time go? Now that I am all settled in and back in the routine of things, I can start blogging again! I can start by doing a tasty Thursday post. Tonight I am making a pork tenderloin, I found this tasty recipe at http://www.foodiefriendsfridaydailydish.com/cooking-with-garlic-roasted-pork-tenderloin-with-white-wine-garlic-and-rosemary/
The eye catching ingredients: garlic, onion, lemon, rosemary, and white wine

1st: sear it on both sides
This helps lock in the flavor
I figured since I had the fresh rosemary, I shouldn't let it go to waste. I decided to make some roasted potatoes with it.
Now that's a yummy dinner!
